About Richard Rothstein & Co. and NeedlepointPillows.com
Richard Rothstein & Co. and NeedlepointPillows.com are owned, not surprisingly, by me Richard Rothstein.
We are a real store (not an internet-only business), with a 5,000 s.f. showroom in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. We sell worldwide (retail and to the trade) and offer the largest selection of high-end, 100% handmade needlepoint pillows and decorative pillows available in the marketplace today.
I have been selling online since 1998, I have had my showroom since 2003, and I am the fourth generation in the home furnishings industry. I started this business because my parents were avid collectors of American antiques, Oriental rugs, and antique needlepoint, samplers, and theorems. As a result, I developed a lifelong passion for all things related to the "needle arts."
My business philosophy is simple:
Luckily for me my lovely wife, Katrina, and our two daughters also share my same passion. (See my girls doing needlepoint!) Our son? Less so.
In addition to pillows and cushions, we are well-known for our custom Oriental rugs, hooked rugs, mirrors, furniture, lighting, marine paintings, porcelain, and prints—the vast majority of which are exclusive to us. These can be viewed at our showroom or on our parent site: http://www.RichardRothstein.com.
I sell pillows all over the world, and of I'm proud of the fact that our pillows are in places such as Buckingham Palace and the White House, but they're also in my house, my friends' and neighbors' houses, and I'm hopeful your house too. And frankly that's even better!
Thank you for considering us. We're grateful for your business. And please don't hesitate to contact me directly, if I can answer any questions.
Richard & Family
Brief bio: raised in Lexington, Mass., graduated from Penn, married "up" to woman of my dreams, have three precious kids who are better than I am at everything, one crazy dog that doesn't know she's a dog, sell beautiful things, can't knit or needlepoint, always leave things in my pockets that go through the wash.
